Then there is the profit of offering the information on a pull basis. Rather than sending news via email on your corporate network via the push method, using the pull-method, you avoid high data volume and email traffic and furthermore allow your staff to select on the information they might want to use and when they want to use it.

Working 40 hrs a week, thus being a debit of 16000 currency units a month.
If he/she spends only 10hours a month on organizing and selecting incoming email for it's quality and relevance regarding his/her role, he/she has produced an effective loss of 1000 currency units.
